Field Engineer Support

Field Engineer Support

NES can supply all kinds of field engineer support in fabrication yard as well as installation site, including offshore structures’ loadout, transportation, jacket launch, upending, pile driving, topside float-over, offshore pipe-laying, spool installation etc.

  • Loadout: Providing technical engineering for the actual loadout operation, and real-time ballasting plan adjustment.
  • Transportation:Providing technical design verification for the transportation, and real-time motion data monitoring for all the transportation route.
  • Lifting: Providing lifting plan design and strength verification for various offshore structures, and promptly design, verify, and adjust plans based on actual on-site resources.
  • Jacket Upending: Providing on-site technical support for single-hook or double-hook upending operations, offering technical support and operational advice based on the jacket’s floating status during upending.
  • Topside Float-over: Providing float-over plan and related structures design, as well as the monitoring the motion of the float-over barge and the environmental condition during the float-over operation.
  • Offshore Pipeline Installation: Guiding the pipeline installation procedure, coordinating on-site resources, and resolving technical issues during the installation.
  • Offshore spool installation: Applying fabrication drawings based on on-site measured flange data, guiding on-site prefabrication, verifying dimensions after fabrication to ensure alignment with underwater survey data, and adjusting lifting plan and strength verification based on actual bend dimensions.

All of our field engineers have over 5 years of experience in engineering design and construction, who can solve technical issues and provide recommendations based on actual on-site conditions, guiding construction to ensure and improve quality and efficiency for the installation.
